Highway 71 Brewing Opens this Weekend

Friday Night Lights. Before Baker Mayfield was taking NFL snaps and Garrett Gilbert was playing on Sundays, both were under the Friday night lights at Cavalier Stadium. Those years weren’t just about future pros — they were the start of a dynasty.
From 2007 to 2011, Lake Travis strung together five straight 4A state championships, with a record of 77-3 that turned our corner of the Hill Country into the epicenter of Texas high school football. And if you were in the stands, you knew you were witnessing more than football. September nights in Lake Travis felt electric, like history was unfolding one snap at a time.
